The MobiService Centres project is proposed by a consortium made up of seven European Cities with existing MSCs that collectively provide the most comprehensive range of state-of-the-art mobility management systems and services. As local authorities, they also represent traffic management, public transport and tourism organisations and are themselves information service providers.

The consortium is led by WS Atkins Transport Systems, as the contractor and technology provider, and is advised by ZELT, the French experimental traffic laboratory.

It is planned to develop a network of ‘follower’ cities and regions early on the project as a means to support and promote the activities and help ensure the results are widely accepted.
